A refined tribute to legacy and craft, Fragments of An Exhibition by Loro Piana appears for one night only at the Royal Academy of Arts. Curated by Judith Clark, it offers highlights from If You Know You Know. Loro Piana’s Quest for Excellence, first shown in Shanghai in March 2025.
In the Large Weston Room, one-of-a-kind silhouettes, a scale model of the historic Quarona factory, and an immersive film by Clark are paired with a soundscape by composer Guo Wenjing, evoking the rhythm of weaving.
In the Small Weston Room, an immersive, sensorial space cocoons visitors in a cashmere-clad backdrop, spotlighting sculptural knitted and woven silhouettes.
At the Loro Piana New Bond Street boutique, curated displays transform the space into a hybrid archive, featuring documents, objects, and heirloom materials from the Maison’s six-generation legacy. An interactive raw cashmere installation and a 1926 sample book further honour the brand’s enduring artisanal sensibility and heritage.
